My member is seeing the following message on the mobile app: “You are already logged in on another device.” How do I fix this?

This article explains, step by step, how to disable the “You are already logged in on another device” message for a member (one-time).

Why is the member receiving this notification?

The MyClubPlanner app is used by many clubs as an entry pass (QR code) to gain access to the club. To prevent members from sharing their accounts with others, Club Planner includes a built-in security feature that monitors which devices a member is logged in on.

It is not possible to be logged in on two devices at the same time. Additionally, as an extra security measure, there must be a minimum of 24 hours between logins on two different devices. This means that a member can log out on device A and must then wait 24 hours before logging in on device B.

In certain situations (such as losing a smartphone or purchasing a new one), it may be beneficial to disable this notification for the member in question:

How can I turn off this notification for a specific member?

  • Open the member's profile
  • Go to 'Reservations'
  • Click on 'Settings'
  • Click the “Reset primary device” button
  • The device-specific account has now been reset—the member can now log in on a new device

Can this safety feature be disabled altogether?

Yes, please contact the support center at support@clubplanner.be.
