This manual provides step-by-step instructions for troubleshooting issues with a turnstile, such as testing other cards/QR codes, checking power and internet connection.
1) Try a different card/QR code
If the problem only occurs for certain users, it is usually due to a setting in the membership management software. Does the problem occur multiple times for different users? Go to step 2.
2) Check the power supply
Check whether the lights on the scanner are on.
Yes: the turnstile has power, proceed to step 3.
No: the turnstile is not receiving power: check whether the fuses are switched on. If not, switch them on (only if you know which fuse is for the tourniquet).
- Fuse blows immediately: contact us.
- Scanner does not light up: contact us.
- Scanner lights up, but the turnstile does not work: go to step 3.
3) Check the internet
3a) Is the network/internet cable properly connected?
Check this where the cable leaves (modem, switch, port in the wall, etc.) and at our module where the cable arrives (usually in the turnstile). Disconnect the cable on both sides, then reconnect it.
Disconnect the turnstile from the power supply (I/O button on the tourniquet itself, or fuse in the panel), wait 30 seconds, plug it back in, and test again after 1 minute.
If this does not work, proceed to step 3B.
3b) Go to https://www.clubplanner.be/ using a computer that is on the same network as the turnstile. Does this work?
Yes: please contact us.
No: check whether you can browse other sites.
Is this not working either? There is no internet available at your location. Please contact your internet provider (Proximus, Telenet, etc.) or network administrator.
Is this working? Ask your network administrator to check why our site (https://www.clubplanner.be/) is not accessible from your location.
